Our Beliefs

Among other things, we believe:
1) That there is one living God, revealed to us in Jesus Christ, and known through Him as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, in the unity of the Godhead.
All are God, all one God, God all three.
(1 Timothy 2:5, John 1:18, Matthew 28:19)

2) The Holy Bible is the Word of God, given to those men that wrote it.
(2 Timothy 3:18, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

3) That the Word who was with God, and was God, was made flesh and dwelt among us, the Man Christ Jesus. The Father sending the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
(John 1:1&14, 1 Timothy 2:5, 1 John 4:14)

4) That The Lord Jesus Christ gave Himself a ransom once for all, having died on The Cross. He was buried and raised on the third day. Through this He has made propitiation for our personal sins and for the sins of the whole world. The shed blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us of all sin.
(1 Timothy 2:6, Philippians 2:8, 1 John 2:2, 1 John 1:7)

5) That the glad tidings of God concerning His Son, Jesus Christ, as presented in the Gospel, is towards all mankind and upon all those who believe.
(Romans 1:1-4, 3:22)

6) That after Christ’s ascension to The Father’s right hand, The Holy Spirit has been sent down to dwell in those who obey God, both individually and in the Church collectively.
(Ephesians 4:8, The Acts 2:4, 5:32, 1 Corinthians 3:16)

7) That The Lord has left two ordinances, both representative of His death. Firstly, baptism, which signifies His death as separating us from the world. Secondly, a weekly gathering to The Lord’s Supper. This is the remembrance of His death, the bread speaking to us of His body broken and given for us, and the wine speaking of His blood shed for us.
(Romans 6:3, 1 Corinthians 11:23-25)

8) That Jesus Christ will come again at the Rapture to receive unto Himself all believers, both those who have died and those still alive. Our bodies shall be changed like unto His glorious body, without sin.
(1 Thessalonians 4:14-17, Philippians 3:21, The Acts 2:21, 2 Timothy 2:19)

9) That seven years after the Rapture, The Lord Jesus Christ will return to the Earth and utterly destroy the man of sin, who is the complete embodiment of all lawlessness and rebellion against the only true God and Jesus Christ.
(2 Thessalonians 2:8&9)

10) That God has appointed a day in which He shall judge this world by The Man He has ordained – His Son, Jesus Christ.
(The Acts 17:31)
